Julia Adam

Julia Adam is a specialist in integrating industry and business knowledge to design value-adding sales and marketing solutions and drive new business development with over 10 years of experience in business development at product and technology-based start-up companies. She is currently responsible for coordinating all sales and marketing activities at BioProcess Technology Consultants. Prior to joining BioProcess Technology Consultants full time, Ms. Adam served as a successful biotechnology business development consultant working closely with senior management teams to achieve funding, partnership, and sales objectives through the evaluation and creation of marketing tools, business plan writing, and market research. She had previously been engaged as a consultant to the Company, evaluating the Company's brand and identity. She also worked with a Boston-based company developing a cutting edge disposable purification technology for manufacturing biopharmaceuticals. Together with the founders, Ms. Adam identified a qualified corporate partner and engineered an acquisition of the company under attractive financial terms. Ms. Adam was previously employed at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals where she established the business development, market research, and public relations functions, helping the company raise $50 million in just over four years. Ms. Adam has also held positions in other industries in which she was responsible for bringing innovation into the organizations and holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of Virginia.
