Presented at: Informa Eighth Annual BioProcess International Europe; 2012 Apr 18-19; Prague, Czech Republic

The bioprocessing industry is under incredible pressure to reduce the cost of biomanufacturing yet remain competitive in bringing new technologies, therapies and processes through development. These slides were presented as part of Dr. Levine’s opening remarks for the first day plenary session at the BioProcess International Europe 2012 conference. The conference objective was to bring together key decision makers from industry, academia and regulatory authorities to discuss the latest and most critical developments in upstream and downstream processing, manufacturing, quality, analytics and formulation.
